Makeup Bag 2

So I made another makeup bag but with a different print.

Still doesn't look professional enough to be sold in a shop which is what bothers me! I need to work on taking my time and not wrestling with the sewing machine.

I'm really happy with my choice of color palette.

The materials and equipment I needed came up to about £15 so if I were to sell these at an extortionate £7.50 each I will make a sweet profit of 0p :)

Finally applied to Uni, tips for students applying for Uni-  don't leave it to the night before the deadline to figure out what the fuck it is you want to do in life.
For those who are interested I have finally decided to just apply for a respected English literature and language course at good unis: Nottingham, Cardiff, Kent, Leeds and Essex. I see no textiles career for me in the future but it'll always be a hobby.

  2. Thanks for visiting my Blog Polly : ) It has taken me 20 years since I left school and 16 since I left art college to finally be making a living doing what I love : ) You never know, your hobby may become your career eventually. Soak up all of life's experiences and learn all you can via this amazing tool (the internet), never had this when I was young(er) lol. I might have found my niche sooner if I had. You never know what road your creativity will take you along. I set out to do ceramics! lol
    All the best, Aileen.x
